As a Data Analyst II for the Growth team, you’ll be deep in Redfin’s web analytics data supporting Redfin’s user growth and customer growth strategies. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to develop metrics, design strategies, and track the success or failure of our efforts. You will be involved in a/b testing design and experiment results decision making, a direct influence to the features that roll out to our consumer facing product. You’ll draw on a wide variety of data sources, including some of the most complete and robust real estate data in the world, synthesizing insights which guide our product roadmap.
The Role
Work on a small team conducting analyses and building robust analytical reporting for our business leaders to plan both for the long and short-term.
Contribute as a member of the team focused on traffic and conversion performance. Analyze this area’s engineering features, in topics such as Search Engine Optimization, Notifications, Recommendations, Traffic, and Site Conversion.
Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to answer tough questions that inform the business and drive strategic data-driven decision making.
Use your technical and business expertise to make our products more analytical, and our analytics more valuable.
Who You Are
2+ years working in an analytical role in a business context is required. Experience in web analytics, especially involving site conversion and a/b testing is required.
Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
Experience using data visualization/BI software (Tableau, Power BI) is required. Specifically, Tableau experience is highly preferred.
Ability to design analyses and experiments that produce actionable results quickly.
Ability to navigate ambiguity well in projects.
Skill in data storytelling with the ability to explain complex insights clearly and effectively to a less technical audience.
Strong consultative and influencing skills to help leaders make decisions and move the business forward.
Possessing a curiosity that doesn’t stop at the “What?” but hungers for the “Why?” and “What if?”
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Business Analytics, an experimental science, or equivalent experience.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.
Base Pay Range: $78,200.00 - 117,200.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
