POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Data Analyst will develop standardized data reporting and visualization methods, create regular reports, and generate actionable insights through data analysis. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to deliver compelling data-driven narratives, conducting baseline analyses, and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Data Analyst will maintain data integrity, ensuring timely and relevant insights to support organizational goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Data Reporting and Visualization 

• Develop and implement standardized data reporting and visualization frameworks
• Create regular reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives

Data Analysis and Insights 

• Collect and analyze data from various sources across the organization
• Perform predictive analytics to anticipate market trends and customer behavior
• Develop reports that highlight the impact of strategic initiatives on business performance

Collaboration and Support 

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to use data for compelling storytelling in client retention and acquisition efforts
• Partner with Marketing Analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and market research insights

Data Quality and Documentation 

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of company data, performing regular quality checks and raising issues as necessary
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and procedures

Market Research and Surveys 

• Analyze external datasets to help Sales target potential opportunities (e.g., district size, budgets, demographics)
• Centralize and organize feedback from various channels for data-driven decisions

WHAT YOU’LL BRING  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in data analysis or data management
• Proven track record of developing standardized approaches for data reporting and visualization
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices in data management
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative data solutions
• Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in the education technology industry is a plus

Reports to:  Director of Reporting and Analytics 

Department: Finance and Operations 
Supervisory:  Individual Contributor  

Salary Range: $75,000+  commensurate with experience and qualifications
