JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
Partner with corporate nonprofit partners to plan and execute events that align with and enable CNA’s CSR strategy. Direct and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, serving as CNA’s onsite CSR event manager.
Support and provide guidance for internal CSR-related committees, including Employee Resource Group Philanthropic Chairs and global CSR Champions, to develop and execute engagement opportunities.
Develop and manage project and communication plans ensuring CSR campaigns are executed seamlessly and on time.
Relationship-manage a portfolio of nonprofit partners ensuring program execution and benefit realization.
Manage corporate giving and volunteering program execution, inclusive of campaigns, process, and communications.
Measure and report the impact of campaigns and initiatives specific to CSR using data and stakeholder feedback to show overall campaign performance, as well as recommend and implement improvements.
Manage the company’s CSR online platform(s); use data from the platform(s) to deliver key program insights and continuous improvement.
Maintain Corporate Social Responsibility budget, reporting budget details to leadership as requested
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Knowledge of local community leadership and various non-profit organizations.
Proven ability to manage program resources and budgets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills including the ability to plan and execute multiple projects at once, ensuring tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external business partners.
Detail oriented with solid analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively and make critical business decisions effectively.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software such as Blackbaud.
Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
Must be able to travel occasionally.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
Typically a minimum of three to five years of related work experience in public affairs or corporate social responsibility.
Knowledge of insurance industry and its products and services is a plus.
