Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Risk Manager is responsible for providing input and implementing a corporate risk strategy that identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial, operational, and legal risks to Marshall. This role involves managing insurance strategy, overseeing the claims process, and providing recommended strategies to protect the organization's assets and reputation. This position will work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and human resources, to develop and implement comprehensive corporate risk management practices.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Professional certification in risk management (e.g., Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)) is highly desirable.

Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements.

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite
