As part of our continued success, Landau Associates is seeking a Client Services and Risk Manager. The selected candidate will have the option to work a hybrid work schedule out of our Seattle, Washington office.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting senior staff with Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements (NDCA) and client contract reviews and related authorization processes, including but not limited to:
    • Supporting the review and negotiation of NDCAs and prime contract agreements, evaluating potential risks and legal implications
    • Drafting subcontractor/subconsultant contract agreements with flow-down terms and conditions
    • Managing and maintaining contract library, including documentation of the contract negotiation and authorization process
    • Assisting Project Managers with contract interpretation, monitoring, and compliance with contractual obligations
    • Support effective risk mitigation strategies and dispute resolutions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, strategic partners, and affiliated organizations, ensuring positive and engaging interactions
  • Supporting contract compliance and renewal processes, including managing certificates of insurance for project owners and clients
  • Developing processes and administrative systems for reviewing contracts to minimize contractual and budgetary risks, including ongoing training support to senior staff
  • Maintaining and updating contract language, budget, and compensation schedule templates, as needed
  • Assisting Project Managers with contract close-out compliance and related client coordination
  • Work collaboratively with the Operational Leadership Team and Contracts Administrator

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 - 15 years of directly related client services or risk management experience
  • Knowledge of project management practices and contract language involving risk management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field, or Paralegal Certification if no degree is held 
  • Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industries

Landau Associates offers an excellent compensation and benefits package in an environment that promotes personal growth and professional advancement. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 – $120,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
