About the Role:


Business Development Manager:


  • Develop a portfolio of new customers with the support of the Marketing team: management and maintenance of opportunities in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool

  • Develop the potential of existing customers (identification of opportunities)

  • Advise customers, inform them about new services

  • Set up specific commercial actions, participate in conferences or customer meetings

  • Coordinate and follow-up of request for information and request for proposals and requests for quotes from customers and prospects with support of each dedicated service (interaction with Professional Services).

  • Prepare, present, and follow up on service offers, proposals, and quotes

  • Foster and manage key partnerships, including overseeing global actions for major accounts in order to set up privileged partnerships (through MSA (Master Service Agreement), prices lists, Governance plan).

  • Track and report on performance to assess success and areas for improvement

 


Operations:


  • Lead project delivery by coordinating effectively with both external (Sponsors, CROs, Investigators) and internal (Data Management, Logistics, Quality Assurance) stakeholders

  • Plan and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets while managing associated risks

  • Address and resolve customer complaints and scope changes in projects

  • Provide regular updates and insights to internal teams and sponsors to ensure alignment and project success. 

 


About You:


  • Must have full- working rights in Australia!

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical trials, pharmacy, or healthcare settings.

  • A background in science is essential, with an understanding of subjects like biology, biomedical sciences, or related fields, to easily grasp the terminology and processes commonly used in the clinical trials industry.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in customer-fronting sales experience

  • Experienced in B2B Sales activity from identifying the potential customers, making sales call plan and appointments, delivering sales calls and sales pitch, finding solutions for the customers, following up customers

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good negotiation skills, with a grasp of the legal issues associated with contracts
