Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our customer base, increasing revenue, and enhancing client relationships. This role has two core responsibilities: developing new business opportunities and managing large, key accounts to drive continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to build enduring client relationships. Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Expand our client base by identifying high-value prospects and maximizing engagement.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and strategic relationship-building.
  • Develop and implement targeted growth strategies to drive business expansion, increase customer retention, and broaden our market presence.
  • Conduct regular market research to anticipate industry trends and adjust strategies for competitive advantage.

Key Account Management:

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers by listening actively and tailoring solutions to their needs, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Navigate interactions with diverse client personalities, including Type A individuals, by adapting communication styles and negotiation approaches for optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts, ensuring consistent communication and shared objectives.

Process Improvement and Strategic Alignment:

  • Analyze and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
  • Present detailed insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, focusing on actionable outcomes and business impact.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer success roles.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and business analytics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and business leaders to achieve key objectives.

Job Type: Salaried

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM

Work Location: Amityville, NY

Travel: 10-15% (This may vary based on needs of the business)

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (Total Comp = Base + Bonus)
