ABOUT THE JOB:



This role is for developing the Cold & Frozen Beverage Category business group of products to optimize sales and profits in the assigned territories and channels in the North America. This role needs to develop new customers of the assigned typology and support the Category and Business Development Cold & Frozen Beverage in North America, providing inputs to the strategy and direction to the regional Sales Team to drive revenue growth, maximize margins and grow market share. 


Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR TASKS:



  • Meet and exceed aligned volume, revenue and margin targets of the category in the assigned territories and customers

  • Be one of the recognized Beverage category and product experts, both for internal and external customers

  • Push product and category sales through sales team or direct interaction in the sales channel with initiatives like promotions and product demonstrations with particular focus on the assigned territories and the Regional Beverage Companies customer typology

  • Develops and maintains a small number of assigned and targeted customer list

  • Collaborate with other specialized Beverage resources as Product Managers and after sales managers to achieve results

  • Search for insights into operator/end user needs and wants

  • Support the development of the sales strategies and initiatives along with the sales team to drive expansion and penetration

  • Actively support product training

  • Support industry events, including national and regional tradeshows, conferences,

  • Provide inputs for exit strategies implementation for unsuccessful products and phase-in/phase-out activities.

  • Support strategic product positioning strategies to maximize its visibility

  • Collaborate with the marketing team

  • Active competitor analysis and information suggesting appropriate pricing and promotional activities 

  • Work with customers and merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories 

  • Provide inputs to calculate forecasts for product demand trends

  • Other duties as directed
     



Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:



  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 3+ years business-to-business sales experience strongly preferred

  • 3+ years of Product Category Management or Business development experience
     


SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • 1+ years Salesforce experience strongly preferred

  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office

  • P&L understanding and financial acumen demonstrated

  • Strong interpersonal skills focused on developing business relationships

  • Solution oriented problem-solving


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate a computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours). The employee may also be required to kneel, bend, and work dexterously with hands. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:



  • 50%+ travel in North America. International travel (outside the Americas) may be required
