Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development and a deep understanding of the industry.

Responsibilities:


  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans

  • Manage and track sales pipeline and report on progress to senior management

  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends

Performance Objectives


  • Maintain excellent customer service to all our clients.

  • Establish brand authority

  • Building Polytex’s reputation in the agricultural industry for protecting Australia’s produce and advancing animal welfare.

  • Generate high-quality leads

  • Become a knowledgeable consultant in the ag sector- in particular Grain, Cattle, Hay, Cotton, Piggery, Poultry and Almonds.

  • Become an integral part of the sales machine.

Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hubspot
