The Business Analyst will focus on capturing and understanding the business requirements at a user story level.
This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. #LI-Hybrid / #LI-Onsite
What will you do?
Participate and collaborate on an Agile development team
Understand the overall business flow by working with Product Owners, subject matter experts (SMEs) and business teams on a regular basis
Define improvements to business processes and products
Assist decision-makers in gathering information in order to make informed decisions
Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and write the detailed requirements of test cases creating and maintaining business and product artifacts
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products
Who would excel in this role?
Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements
Experience with business analysis or project management
Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally
SQL knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors
