Position Summary: Responsible for the management of the operational functions within the branch including managing, overseeing and hiring of branch personnel. Supervising branch operations, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient operations on a day-to-day basis. The BOM will ensure the branch runs in a productive manner using established policies and procedures as well as looking for ways to improve operations and reduce costs. Responsible for expanding customer base through the successful promoting of bank products and services. The BOM will perform the job in a manner that will enhance the quality of customer service provided to both our internal and external customers.The work schedule is Monday - Friday with some Saturday work required.


Essential Functions



  • Control and management of branch expenses, income, loss and audit systems.

  • Oversees teller line and assists in issuance and receipt of cash to/from the vault, resolving teller differences, auditing cash drawers, reviewing transactions for overages/shortages and complete operational reports.

  • Oversees the balancing and maintenance of branch cash with Lead Teller.

  • Utilizes leadership, management and technical skills related to the operational functions of the branch.

  • Supports the Bank’s overall goals including the mission statement and core values.

  • Actively conducts branch management and staff meetings and provides supervision, guidance, interpretation, coaching and mentoring on matters of Bank policies, procedures, products and services.

  • Minimizes risk to the Bank while ensuring quality customer service and problem resolution consistent with customer needs.

  • Works closely with other levels of management to ensure branch maintains the required quality standards expected to keep the branch in complete compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Also ensures staff adherence to policies and procedures.

  • Addresses client needs and resolution of customer issues in an efficient and timely manner, promoting products and services as applicable.

  • Assists in the opening of new accounts for both the deposit and lending platforms by explaining various services available and assisting customers in selecting these services.

  • Provides maintenance for existing accounts; maintains confidentiality of customer accounts.

  • Assists in the opening and closing of the branch on a daily basis.


Additional Responsibilities



  • Maintains the appearance and maintenance of the building and grounds of the property.

  • Creates and oversees employee incentive goals, keeping the staff motivated to strive for the number one spot in the system.

  • Assists HR in providing training, coaching, development and motivation for bank personnel.

  • Attends training and seminars when requested and/or necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Branch Manager as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
