  • Supervises the storage, handling, issuing, and delivery of all food, beverage, and general supplies.
  • Evaluates operating procedures, recommend changes, and implements approved changes.
  • Maintains up-to-date information on all facets of receiving procedures.
  • Ensures all products in warehouse meet specifications and meet pre-established standards.
  • Understands meat buyers guide specifications as it relates to cuts of trim.
  • Accountable for all products received and stored in warehouse and maintain proper par levels.
  • Ensure proper documentation is generated.
  • Maintain all departmental equipment.
  • Participate in inventories as assigned.
  • Prepare and implement all receiving schedules and work duties.
  • Order all supplies required for receiving area.
  • Oversees receiving functions daily.
  • Recommend the employment, promotion, corrective counseling, and termination of department personnel.
  • Conduct orientation and training of Team Members and be responsible for the development of work standards.

  • Demonstrated ability in planning and organization of work, and training Team Members in the performance of their tasks.
  • Valid Class C commercial driver’s license required, preferably with experience in a 10-wheel vehicle or larger and have a good driving record.
  • Prior food and beverage handling experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate a power jack and forklift, and be able to push and restrain loads of up to 1000 lbs.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Knowledge of perishable products and proper product rotation.
  • Strong knowledge of cooler/freezer equipment required.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with Team Member relations issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous inventory experience preferred.
  • 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • 2 years’ warehouse experience.
  • Prior food and beverage experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations.
