Job Overview:
Are you ready to step into a pivotal role where your organizational skills and customer service mindset can truly shine? This is a rare opportunity to join our State & Chestnut team located in the vibrant Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. As an Assistant Property Manager at Reside Living, you’ll be more than just a support role; you’ll be a vital partner in crafting vibrant communities and enhancing resident experiences. You’ll help shape the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that residents feel at home.


Key Responsibilities:


Operational Excellence



  • Act as the right hand to the Property Manager, taking the reins in their absence to ensure property objectives are not just met but exceeded.

  • Keep the pulse of property operations by meticulously managing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on rents and deposits, ensuring accuracy and transparency.


Financial Stewardship



  • Maintain precise resident records, ensuring timely updates on rents, deposits, and application fees. Your keen attention to detail will help manage notifications for late payments and other important communications.

  • Support the collection process of delinquent rent, and play a key role in closing out resident accounts with professionalism and empathy.


Resident Engagement



  • Work closely with the Property Manager and Central Renewal Specialist to craft renewal lease packages that not only meet but anticipate residents' needs.

  • Foster strong resident relations by maintaining open lines of communication, conducting periodic inspections, and addressing any concerns with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

  • Plan and participate in resident events that promote community engagement and satisfaction.


Marketing & Leasing



  • Embrace your role as a property ambassador! Welcome prospective residents, showcase our properties, and convert leads into satisfied tenants with a leasing ratio that stands out in the industry.

  • Stay ahead of local market trends and collaborate with the Property Manager to brainstorm innovative marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience.


Administrative Excellence



  • Keep the office running like a well-oiled machine by organizing reports, managing compliance with renter’s insurance, and processing resident paperwork efficiently.

  • Streamline service requests and ensure maintenance is notified promptly, making sure every resident feels heard and valued.


General Responsibilities



  • Embrace any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Property Manager, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.


Qualifications:



  • A minimum of two years of on-site property management or leasing experience is preferred.

  • Proven track record of achievements that demonstrate your capability and drive.
