Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Production Manager at Krosswood Doors in LaVergne, TN. The Assistant Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality standards are met, managing inventory, and supporting the Production Manager in optimizing production processes.



Qualifications



  • Experience in production management, inventory control, and quality assurance

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Leadership and team management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and production management software

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Previous experience in the door or woodworking industry is a plus




As a Production Supervisor, you will:



  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production objectives

  • Monitor production processes to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently, and identifying areas for improvement

  • Coordinate and assign tasks to production staff, and ensure that all staff members receive appropriate training to perform routine duties effectively

  • Oversee operations of the production facility and directly supervise production staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance

  • Maintain SOPs, and ensure SOPs are in place and followed

  • Enforce policies and systems



Job Requirements



  • 2-3 years of experience supervising in a manufacturing environment



Assistant Operations Manager



  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel

  • Experience collecting data, defining problems, and developing solutions

  • General equipment repair and maintenance experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment

  • Ability to create and adhere to production processes

  • Ability to draft reports

$50,000/ Year
