Accountant II

Siter-Neubauer & Associates is currently conducting a search for Accountant II: 

The area's perfect weather provides an average temperature of 70 degrees, with four beautiful and distinct seasons, and breathtaking landscapes complete with granite mountains, lakes, streams, and rolling meadows filled with wildlife. 

The individual in this role will provide accounting support to the General Accounting Managerand Financedepartment. The person must be willing to perform data entry/analysis in financeas support/backup. The Accountant will be part of the Finance team. 

• Completion and entry of journal entries. 
  
• Assist/perform closing activities.  
  
• Financial Analysis support.  
  
• Account reconciliations.  
  
• Bank reconciliations.  
  
• Ensure plant fixed assets and related depreciation is appropriately accounted for,including review and reporting of capital expenditure requests and spend tracking.  
  
• Update and maintain Physical Inventory of Fixed Assets.  
  
• Backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.  
  
• Assist cost accountant with research/analysis.  
  
• Other special projects and analysis as assigned by manager

Key/Core Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  
• 3 years of manufacturing/aerospace experience ERP experience / Syspro experience preferred  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft products especially Excel  
  
• Shows strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and requirements  
  
• Able to work independently and in a team environment  
  
• Detail oriented, with strong work ethic
