The Widgets and Digital Reporting Associate Product Manager will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for client experience workflows in both existing Widgets and new Digital Reporting areas. This role demands a problem solver who collaborates across multiple teams to enhance user experience, focusing on ease of use, performance, and seamless integration. Responsibilities include conducting research and analysis to inform the product vision and roadmap, defining user needs and acceptance criteria with development teams, and prioritizing critical issues to improve customer satisfaction by defining problem spaces and experimenting with solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with clients and prospects to gather feedback, interpret their needs, and identify gaps in the current product offering.

  • Continually conduct comprehensive assessments of the competitive landscape.

  • Lead product discovery, market research, and validation initiatives to evaluate the value, viability, feasibility, and usability of new features and enhancements prior to full-scale development.

  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to effectively track and optimize product outcomes.

  • Shape the strategic vision, product roadmap, and lifecycle management for the Widgets and Digital Reporting solutions

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all widget components, serving as a subject matter expert (SME)

  • Provide clear prioritization and direction to the engineering team for issue resolution and feature development, ensuring that critical customer experience improvements are addressed efficiently.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to define user requirements, set acceptance criteria, and prioritize features, while iterating on solution development.

  • Deliver timely and constructive feedback to cross-functional team members, motivating them to achieve outstanding results.

  • Develop detailed specifications for web components, clearly defining technical requirements and guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX specialists and engineers to design, develop, and optimize web components, ensuring alignment with user needs and feedback.

  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to gather insights and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Verify data and data availability for new API integrations, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

  • Debug and troubleshoot APIs and web components, identifying and resolving errors and inefficiencies.

  • Test newly developed web components, performing comprehensive evaluations to ensure functionality and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of product management experience.

  • Experience in the financial industry and in understanding and supporting wealth management workflows is preferred.

  • Proficient in prioritizing product enhancements and feature development based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical considerations.

  • Excellence in execution, with a strong focus on translating strategy into actionable outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, capable of troubleshooting complex issues and clearly articulating problem areas and potential solutions.

  • Familiarity with data and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Exceptional technical troubleshooting abilities.

  • A keen interest in learning new technologies and understanding how multiple systems integrate.

 

The budgeted salary range for this position in the state of Connecticut is $95,000 - $115,000.
