Your role within the team

In the position of Wellness Business Development Manager you will be responsible for Commercial Sales and Product Education & Training for the pharmacy channel.


Key responsibilities include:


Commercial Sales Capability:



  • Sales Process management,

  • Deliver Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets,

  • Utilise commercial sales tools to support in high quality field decision making and customer interaction,

  • Deliver on business agreed promotional activity and customer service level requirements,

  • Promoting products in line with Swisse global brand guidelines.


Education Training Capability:



  • Effectively implement a dynamic technical training plan across your designated territory in line with cascading business priorities,

  • Customer and Consumer “needs based” educational and training requirements with key decision makers to ensure sell through of products,

  • At times, support of group / banner presentations and industry conference representation.


 


Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:



  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence ,

  • Proven territory management success in Pharmaceutical, Naturopathy, Medical or health food sales,

  • Healthcare Qualified; with a Degree or Diploma in a Health Science or Naturopathy discipline, have a strong understanding of sales in the health care sector and understanding of key clinical terms and relevant industry research data,

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with competency levels in commercial understanding of business proposals and return on investments,

  • Account management of state-based groups; managing promotional activity; presenting NPD; core range and planogram requirements; negotiating co-op in line with ROI (highly desired but not essential).
