We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an Automotive Group. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. This role requires effective leadership and collaboration across departments to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management practices, data analysis, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Other duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to:






  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.





  • Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve supply chain processes.





  • Manage demand forecasting and production planning to ensure product availability.





  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve the best terms.





  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.





  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and risks.





  • Procurement: Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.





  • Develop procurement strategies that support sustainability and quality standards.





  • Ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.





  • Logistics & Inventory Management: Oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.





  • Optimize logistics operations to reduce lead times and transportation costs.





  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing excess inventory.





  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery times, and inventory turnover.





  • Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain performance, cost savings, and opportunities for improvement.





  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply chain activities.





  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline operations.





  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with other departments.





  • Leadership & Team Development: Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.





  • Ensure the team is well-trained in the latest supply chain tools, techniques, and regulatory requirements.





  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.





  • Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with legal, environmental, and regulatory standards.





  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in global trade regulations, tariffs, and shipping laws.






Requirements



To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:






  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.





  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or a related field.





  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex data.





  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
