Position: Senior Recruiter

  • Pay: Negotiable – Base Plus Commission
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Industrial Recruiter to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is essential in sourcing, interviewing, and placing skilled trade candidates while managing various HR functions such as compensation, benefits, and contract negotiations. You’ll also mentor sourcing specialists and recruiters, ensuring high standards across the team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source, evaluate, and place candidates for skilled trade positions in designated markets.
  • Conduct interviews (phone and in-person) to assess qualifications and job fit.
  • Match candidate skills to current and future job openings, aiming for a weekly gross profit run rate of $6,500 within 12 months.
  • Act as the secondary contact for clients, building strong relationships and meeting their hiring needs.
  • Submit qualified candidates for open positions and maintain job postings in the database.
  • Write and interpret job descriptions, present candidates to clients, and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Manage candidate documentation, including reference checks, background screenings, and drug tests.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, tracking documentation, payroll, and other HR-related functions.
  • Participate in networking events, job fairs, and community outreach to promote opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement new recruiting technologies and practices for skilled trades.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in recruiting or staffing, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a staffing agency, particularly with high-volume commercial, skilled trades, or professional recruitment.
  • Knowledge of Boolean search techniques is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills to manage multiple systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • Team player with a willingness to train and support colleagues.
  • High adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to follow-through.
  • Motivated and energetic with the ability to work extended hours when needed.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
