Your Focus
As Regional Product & Business Development Manager (RP&BDM), Food Enzymes, you will have dual responsibilities in ASPAC region. The ASPAC region includes all countries in Asia and Oceania excluding China.
You will be expected to set pricing guidelines and prioritization of new product initiation based on business strategy for regional product portfolio as well as, lead business development within South East Asia markets as SEA represents key opportunity within ASPAC.
As a specialty business, product portfolio choices are key drivers of competitiveness and long-term profitability. You will evaluate contributions of existing products and new product potential, to ensure continued competitiveness within the ASPAC region.
The role will see you manage various go-to-market model of the business ending on the segment. The business is highly customer-centric and requires deep understanding of customer processes in innovation, manufacturing and marketing. You will also own the Food Enzymes P&L for ASPAC and is expected to deliver business goals whilst encouraging a work culture of excellence, prioritize growth and development.
This position is Singapore based and will report to the Global Business Director, Food Enzymes.
How you will contribute
Strongly and actively collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver growth targets.
Identify growth opportunities across markets and create winning strategy.
Deliver on strategy and respective financial metrics.
Participate in Regional Category Growth Team and promote enzymes in line with customer centric mindset.
Actively manage portfolio of products to maintain high profitability of the business.
Build exceptional and long-term partnerships with strategic customers.
Business Development and deliver P&L for SEA market.
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor, Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Food Science or any other relevant discipline.
Overall 8-10 years’ experience from the industry, with at least 5-7 years of proven track record in Product management, or Sales in B2B multinational organizations.
Good understanding and knowledge of the Food Enzymes industry key competitors, trends and customers preferred.
Positivity, flexibility, resilience and adaptability with agile thinking.
Strong with Financial forecast and reporting.
Proven in business development, driving business growth, strategic and creative.
Ability to develop exceptional internal and commercial relationships, network and influence throughout functional organization to deliver results for the Asia region.
Good capacity to move inside the organization articulating the necessary changes to make the business happen.
Aptitude to assimilate data and perform analysis to create scenarios, ability to develop new approaches to test solution, comfortable in asking questions.
Excellent business acumen, capability to translate opportunities into solid business cases.
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environment with different business leaders and cross functional teams.
Excellent English communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel.
