As a Recruiter, Product & Engineering at Hiive, you will play a pivotal role in helping us scale our rapidly expanding business by identifying and securing top technical talent to drive our next stage of growth. You will work closely with hiring managers across engineering, product, data, and other key teams to understand their needs, craft tailored recruitment strategies, and deliver exceptional candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact startup environment.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for a range of technical roles, including software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and product designers.
Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier technical candidates in a competitive market.
Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their teams' needs, building job specifications, and crafting role descriptions.
Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, events, referrals, and direct outreach.
Evaluate technical skills through interviews, assessments, and coding tests, ensuring candidates meet both technical and cultural fit requirements.
Manage candidate pipelines, track metrics, and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide transparency and updates.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, working with both candidates and interview panels to ensure an efficient and positive experience.
Foster strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring Hiive stands out as an employer of choice.
Promote Hiive's mission, values, and culture to potential candidates, highlighting the exciting growth opportunities at a leading fintech marketplace.
Stay up-to-date on the latest recruitment trends and tools, bringing new insights and strategies to the recruitment process.
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, ideally in fast-growing tech startups or marketplace businesses.
Proven track record of successfully recruiting for technical roles in product, engineering and data.
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media, and networking in technical communities.
Ability to assess technical skills, including familiarity with basic technical concepts in software engineering and data.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools, ideally Ashby.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal teams.
High level of organization, with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality hires in a timely manner.
Preferred Skills:
Experience recruiting for roles in fintech or marketplace startups is a plus.
Experience working for a high growth start up or at a recruitment agency.
Ability to manage recruitment metrics and report on progress and outcomes to leadership.
