Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is looking for a detail-oriented and diligent, experienced Project Manager to support two U.S. Department of
Defense (DoD) projects. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, has a positive attitude, professional, organized, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities include:
· Responsible for the day-to-day customer engagement, recurring operations, support to technical teams, procurements, monthly contract and financial status reports, and deliverable document schedule and quality
· Provide project supervision and management for major program activities to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance
· Manage and direct program personnel including recruiting, training, mentoring, performance reviews, retention, and career path/promotions
· Responsible for all phases of the contract execution, including monitoring contract & subcontract requirements, deliverables, and funding; and overseeing timekeeping, travel expenses, and procurements
· Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
· Support website and program-specific systems. Individual must be a quick learner and comfortable with data and information systems.
· Some travel required (~10% annually)
· Support business development and proposal efforts

Required Qualifications:

    • Education/Certifications:
    • Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Federal Government SECRET Security Clearance
    • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years management, project management, or customer-facing leadership roles
    • Experience with project planning, estimating, and scheduling and reporting
    • Experience leading teams
    • Experience managing individual and program performance standards
    • Experience competing for and managing task orders and subcontractor partners
    • Skills & Knowledge
    • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Strong creative, analytical thinking, and management skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
    • Must be able to lift ~25-50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Top Secret Security Clearance
    • Government contract experience a plus
    • Understanding of DoD classification markings
    • Bachelor’s degree in management or technical field
    • Possesses advanced management, executive development training, and/or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Previous experience managing resources in Unanet
    • Experience leading Agile teams and Scrum Master Certification
    • Experience directing and supervising engineering and technical personnel on a major program, project, or activity
    • Previous experience supporting Army programs and/or Army Research and Development contracts
