Job Description:

We’re looking for an innovative and energetic self-starter and thought leader to join the Global Treasury and Merchant Operations COO team. Candidate will support the Operational Excellence work within GTMO, leading diverse business activities including Op Ex process management and improvement initiatives with significant business impact. In addition to superb project management and process engineering skills, our ideal candidate must be able to forge strong relationships throughout the global organization to drive positive change and improve operational performance.  The successful candidate will possess a strong project management background and deep business acumen, will bring a passion for process analysis and design, and will demonstrate critical thinking skills, a strong desire to learn, and the proven ability to work collaboratively to solve business problems.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Documenting and evaluating existing business processes, performing data / trending analysis to establish current performance, identify opportunities for improvement and quantify impacts
  • Provide end-to-end high-quality view of processes within business functions with proper identification of hand-offs and process connections
  • Leading significant bodies of work to design, execute and sustain future state business processes which maximize user experience and business value  
  • Prepare presentations and process overview utilizing models and complementary data to assist leaders in process re-engineering activities
  • Facilitating across multiple areas (business, operations, technology, key partners) to drive critical change initiatives
  • Managing/coordinating multiple projects and timelines, prioritizing work based on the value proposition for the business
  • Integrating knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processes
  • Managing operational routines

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • 2-3 years strong professional experience in Program/Project Management with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Experience in process design, process management, process mapping, documentation, and evaluation
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to comprehend, document, evaluate and improve complex business processes with a demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented on business process concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; comfortable interacting with senior leaders
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own project/process documentation
  • Comfortable preparing and delivering presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Creative problem solver with logical and systematic approach to solving problems
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effectively deals with ambiguity and adapts to changing circumstances
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (e.g Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Communicates, influences, and negotiates both vertically and horizontally
  • Develops, maintains, and reports on an overall integrated delivery plan

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prefer Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Project Management certifications (or equivalent experience)
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.
