Summary:
The Power Systems Project Manager will oversee customer relations and functional areas of the generator project including estimating, budgeting, site walks, and request for proposals for commercial (schools, businesses, municipal, industrial, and telecom) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, promote, and implement effective project initiatives to include request for proposals, bid walks, and bid proposals
Collect and analyze customer metrics to drive the appropriate actions to achieve goals
Facilitate the communication and interaction among functional teams
Diligent tracking of client expectations and meeting those expectations through service delivery team
Responsible for Managing Project document submission through customer acceptance
Internal & External Project Reporting with Metrics
Run Daily & Weekly Reporting Calls
Develops solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of electrical construction to include standby generators, UPSs, and solar and the ability to understand and interpret construction documents
Ability to communicate with team members and customers
Must be highly proficient with the Microsoft office Suites
Must have excellent attention to detail
Excellent organizational, problem solving, written and verbal skills
Must be self-motivated with a proactive approach to working with diverse teams
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors in Construction or Project Management or related field preferred
Telecommunications experience preferred
5+ years of customer facing sales experience

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based upon needs of the position.
Physical Demands:
Employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools are controls; reach with hands and arms
Complete site walks/bid walks for customers (onsite visits)
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines
Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug/alcohol testing and participate in random testing program
Position requires working indoors in a professional office atmosphere
Must possess valid driver’s license
Travel:
25% travel expected for this position
