Responsibilities

  • Service existing accounts by handling renewals, certifications, and general client servicing needs.
  • Assist clients with inquiries, policy changes, and claims processing to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Quote and manage new and renewal business, leveraging market knowledge and client-specific needs to provide competitive solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, coverage enhancements, and pricing for clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to advise clients effectively and maintain compliance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, proactively identifying risk exposures and recommending appropriate coverage enhancements or risk management strategies.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, policy summaries, and coverage comparisons to clients during renewal and new business processes.
  • Remarket policies when necessary to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client documentation, maintaining organized client files and records.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance knowledge and contribute to team success in serving client needs effectively.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively based on volume, urgency, and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team environment.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze complex insurance needs and provide solutions.
  • Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Required Agency Management System Experience: AMS360
  • At least 3 years of Personal Lines Account Management experience is required. 3+ years preferred.
  • Experience with both Standard and High Net Worth accounts is required.
  • Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
