Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand ambassador, providing information on services and community resources.
- Oversee housekeeping scheduling, payroll, and audits.
- Guide housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure quality service.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Troubleshoot IT issues with maintenance support.
- Manage resident move-ins/outs and conduct inspections.
- Prepare welcome packages and review emergency procedures.
- Assess resident needs and make service recommendations.
- Build relationships with residents, families, and vendors.
- Oversee building operations, including suite turnovers and contractor management.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with relevant parties.
- Handle invoicing and maintain financial records in Yardi.
- Manage general administration and resident files.
- Promote team spirit and contribute to budget planning.
- Attend residents' meetings to address concerns and suggestions.
- Develop and implement safety programs and staff development initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with residents and families.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Business Administration diploma/degree preferred
- Experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Bona-fide Requirements
- Required to be on-call.
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Able to travel <25% in Alberta for training and to support other sites when needed.
- Class 5 Driver's license and own vehicle.
