The Industry Marketing Group (IMG) at Laserfiche is seeking a creative and motivated professional who is passionate about driving technology innovation to improve process automation services. The Marketing Manager - Government, leads the development and implementation of an integrated marketing program that communicates clear value messaging and drives demand and growth for Laserfiche enterprise content management solutions. The Marketing Manager - Government, is the voice of the customer and subject matter expert for specific sector & industry regulations and trends. Through a close collaboration with marketing communications, demand generation, sales, presales, solution providers, and product strategy, the Marketing Manager – Government, influences innovative solution designs and facilitates discussions on digital transformations for Laserfiche business growth.

About Role - Essential Functions:
- Be the subject matter expert within key Government and Education sectors. Note: this role will also oversee the Education sector, with the understanding that many of the core skill competencies for Government marketing will be crossover skills to support the Education sector.
- Develop a deep understanding of our diverse range of end-user customers, their growth needs, and challenges (aka what problem are we solving, by department, within key industries).
- Craft and deliver compelling value propositions and benefits. Plan and implement an integrated marketing communications program that connects with technology decision-makers and builds trust.
- Support sales channel lead generation and nurturing with effective collateral and compelling marketing campaigns.
- Develop fiscal year strategies, by vertical market, for effective brand awareness and revenue growth.
- Ensure our sales teams remain current on industry trends through regular briefings and training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Strategy and Development to identify new solution opportunities and prioritize industry requirements in the Laserfiche product roadmap.
- Research and analyze the industry growth and challenges to develop business strategies and opportunities for specific sectors & industries.
- Work with industry specific analysts and 3rd party organizations to build a strong position along with industry outlook and measure competitiveness to identify competitors.
- Perform deep dive analysis and translate industry growth and challenges to develop emerging solutions, business strategies, product roadmaps to create business opportunities for specific sectors & industries.
- Planning and executing strategies including in-depth market research to understand key trends within specific sectors & industries and create business value analysis.
- Develop high-level, thoughtful leadership positioning and business solution components. Collaborate with sales and demonstrate a role of consultant and partner with the Laserfiche Solution Providers to help execute a go-to-market sales strategy.
- Evaluate cross-functional efforts to measure across the business approach and understand solutions that are working and not working in achieving objectives.
- Work with customer accounts executives and partners to promote market intelligence and promote a full campaign to drive business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product marketing and development to prioritize and incorporate industry requirements and provide insights into the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with sales teams and other stake holders to create industry-specific marketing roadmaps and develop key sector messages and go-to-market approach.
About You - Essential Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience within Government (primarily) and/or Education (secondarily) sectors for top-of-funnel demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM) and market research expertise for thought leadership and trend development.
- A demonstrated ability to learn and apply technology innovation and solution development in process automation and digital transformations, and a good understanding of business practices and value chains in the industry.
- Ability to foster relationships with executive-level prospects and partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prior working experience with CRM preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience working in Government, Education Sectors and/or Cloud technology sectors preferred, along with working knowledge or any regulatory compliances within a key sector & industry.
The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience among other factors.
- Range: $104,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
