OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Planning to join our team at Kering Beauté, overseeing The House of Creed, Mizensir, Balenciaga, and Bottega Veneta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing and import logistics functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and supply chain. This person will play a crucial role in developing and owning operations processes to ensure a cost-effective and controlled flow of products in alignment with demand forecasts and sales budget goals

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of Purchasing and Inventory Management functions, collaborating with Sales, Finance and Marketing teams to develop and execute an effective inventory management strategy.
  • Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships, working closely with the Head of Operations to optimize resources and streamline processes.
  • Coordinate inbound freight timing in partnership with freight forwarder for orders originating in Europe and Asia.
  • Analyze weekly inbound KPIs for the company, communicate shortages of shipments, and develop action plans for inventory continuity.
  • Collaborate with 3PL warehouse to communicate inventory arrival and enhance product flow continuity.
  • Work with Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning on forecasting inventory for monthly replenishment orders, future launches orders and production planning for domestic product assemblies.
  • Identify and address process gaps within existing supply and demand planning framework, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Partner with the Head of Operations to develop and implement a comprehensive operations strategy, encompassing all segments of Operations including: Logistics, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Warehousing.
  • Assist with SKU set up and the employee discount program.
  • Seek to promote and cultivate the company and brand awareness with external partners


CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain or Business Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience related to purchasing, sourcing management, supply chain, demand planning.
  • Luxury/Beauty consumer goods experience, including 3+ years forecasting and inventory planning experience, and 2+ years of manager/senior level responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration/problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams projects and drive process improvement.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/French a plus but not necessary.
