Business Development Manager


My client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager as they expand their portfolio of products. They are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment. Although experience in selling into the legal and/or financial sectors is preferable, it is not essential. This company focuses on commercial law, so an interest in business and the City would be beneficial.


Key responsibilities:


  • Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the UK Legal Community
  • Qualify leads and guide them through the sales cycle
  • Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the world's top-ranked law firms
  • Close deals to meet individual and team targets
  • Maintain and update the CRM system
  • Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
  • Represent the company at various events
  • Collaborate with the team to expand the portfolio
  • Cross-sell other products

Requirements:


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external contacts
  • Reliable, diligent, and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Competitive and ambitious in achieving targets
  • Customer-focused and effective at problem-solving

Our client operates on a hybrid basis of 3 days working in the office and 2 days working at home.
