Our client requires a Lead Business Analyst is to work closely with business representatives to gain a thorough understanding of the identified changes, then to work with the team responsible for making the necessary changes to the affected applications. The Lead Business Analyst will also assist with change management and communication activities to ensure the affected stakeholders are ready for the changes being implemented.

Requirements

-Experience working as a Lead Business Analyst in a custom software application development environment performing functions such as: interviewing business clients; analyzing documents; leading in requirements workshops; documenting requirements; developing and conducting surveys; documenting business processes ; developing use cases; documenting business scenarios; developing business process models; and/or conducting impact analysis

-Experience working with business representatives to investigate and analyze policy changes, document business and system impacts, and develop strategy papers

-Experience leading and mentoring other BAs in a team environment

-Experience working in the post-secondary sector with a sound knowledge of its key stakeholders, business functions, and information requirements

Desirables

-Experience in Business Process Reengineering

-Experience working on concurrent projects (concurrent projects must be described)

-Experience with leading and facilitating change management

-Experience working directly with extended stakeholders

-Experience developing communication plans

-Experience preparing project administration documentation such as: status reports; meeting minutes; risks; issues; decision requests; and change requests

-Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment
