JOB DUTIES
As a key member of the Information Technology team, this role will report to the Information Technology Manger and will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
- Help enforce the security of IT systems and data by implementing best practices, conducting regular security assessments, and adhering to relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Maintain effective communication channels with third-party vendors, including the third-party helpdesk team, to facilitate seamless collaboration.
- Provide technical support to resolve complex IT issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and assist end-users as needed.
- Support the development and upkeep of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, safeguarding the organization's ability to rebound from disruptions effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs, evaluate solutions, and implement
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Track asset lifecycles, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Aid in asset management strategies to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in IT support role is preferred.
- An understanding of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and data protection regulations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
