Position Summary: Human Resources Representative will provide assistance and support to the Human Resources Department
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Responsible for learning and implementing all aspects of community works/Minds Matter LLC philosophical principles.
Manages office administrative needs for HR Department and responds to employees questions and needs regarding basic personnel, benefits information and other HR policies and procedures.
Provides answers/resolution to the majority of calls and inquiries received within HR. Ensure all inquiries and telephone calls to the HR Department are appropriately prioritized and handled in a professional and timely manner. Collaborates with HR team members to appropriately refer inquiries or to determine best course of action and response. Follows-up as necessary
Directs job applicants to web-based employment resource.
Process, review and maintains pre-employment offer processing, which includes background checks, reference checking, regret letters and complete all other HR forms as applicable.
Facilitates new employee orientation and student/contractor/temporary staffing orientation process.
Handles a high degree of confidential information and ensure that such information is communicated and/or maintained in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
Administrative Support
Oversees general administrative functions in order to ensure all tasks associated with the HR department are executed in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintains and processes all I-9 forms and enters online submission of new hire state and E-Verify I-9 reporting. Maintains records in accordance with applicable law.
Assist with recruitment activities such as completing required forms for Recruiter to attend career fairs, events, etc.
Responsible for all HR Department records and filing. Maintains, active, and termination files as directed. Responsible for storing and retrieving files.
Assist with employment verifications.
Assist with preparation of EEOC and OSHA Report on an annual basis.
Assist with annual audits an ensuring electronic personnel files are maintained in compliance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience as HR Assistant, Representative or similar position required.
