Human Resources Manager

Contra Costa Christian Schools seeks a dynamic and effective Human Resources Manager to effectively manage human resources procedures, communications, and record keeping.


Position Details

  • This is a full-time, 12 month exempt position
  • Reports to the Head of School.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in human resources or HR management, or other relevant degree.  
  • Personal testimony and whole-hearted commitment to a fervent faith in Christ.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of increased leadership experience in a related role.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing, maintaining and implementing  human resources procedures, documenting human resource issues etc.
  • Experience in managing human resource issues for non-profit organizations.
  • Supervisory experience is highly desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of ability to work collaboratively and achieve success in a team setting.

Salary & Benefits

  • Range of $65,000 - $75,000 annual salary 

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains, implements and enforces human resource policies and procedures.
  • Manage all aspects of the employment process including orientation and training new staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School to ensure human resource issues are implemented according to the goals and priorities of the Head of School and the Strategic Plan.
  • Ensure best practices for employee hiring, and employee compliance with CCCS HR procedures.
  • Evaluate organizational policy and procedures related to employee handbook, staff relations, legal and regulatory authorities and other areas as assigned. 
  • Work in collaboration with the administration to minimize liability risk.
  • Administer employee benefits and serve as the primary point of contact for our benefits partners. 
  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
