Job Summary
As the HR Generalist, you will serve as the on-site HR professional, supporting Renu Energy Solutions and Sun Service Specialists. This role will oversee and carry out a wide variety of HR responsibilities, initiatives, and operations.
This position is a full-time, onsite position located in our Charlotte, NC Renu Energy Solutions headquarters. This may include some local travel.
Reports to the President of Renu Energy Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage all HR procedures, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
- Stay up to date on local and federal employment rules and regulations to maintain compliance in all HR activities.
- Manage employee interactions, dispute resolution, and performance management. Main point of contact for all employee relations.
- Use HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solutions to effectively manage employee data, track critical HR KPIs, and provide analytical reports.
- Provide daily HR assistance to workers by efficiently addressing queries and dealing with HR-related concerns.
- Conduct frequent HR audits to guarantee data accuracy, policy compliance, and overall HR effectiveness.
- Provide assistance with recruitment efforts as requested by department leaders.
- Support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other incentives.
- Lead and implement HR strategies to increase employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Help establish and maintain performance evaluation systems, coaching managers and staff on goal setting and feedback.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify high-performing individuals for recognition and future career progression.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create training programs.
- Provide back-up support for payroll input, audit, and processing as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an HR Generalist within technology and field services related industries.
- Construction and/or renewable energy industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal employment rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and private material discreetly.
- Successfully managed HR operations, programs, and coordinating functions in a fast-paced and dynamic setting a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make solid judgments based on evidence and comprehensive analysis.
- Proficiency in payroll and HR systems and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Dependable, with a commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google suite of applications. Must have strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a business-related field or equivalent years of experience.
