The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is responsible for supporting all services and activities within the HR Department.  The HR Coordinator assists the Director in ongoing recruitment efforts and the development of a quality workforce; ensures legal and regulatory compliance related to human resource management and assists and advises employees about HR issues.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; monitor and analyze operations and results as directed; develop and prepare reports as directed; and provide support to employees throughout the agency.
  • Actively pursue recruitment opportunities, including career fairs, job boards, social media recruiting, etc.
  • Review all applications submitted and schedules interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Conduct investigations as assigned, related but not limited to workforce issues and concerns, disciplinary issues, allegations of discrimination, harassment, or other unlawful employment practices.

Education and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Development, Business or Public Administration, Industrial Relations, nonprofit management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting
