POSITION SUMMARY
Arrowpoint, a MorphWorks company, is looking for a HR Business Partner/Office Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff; administering pay, benefits, and leave; enforcing company policies and practices; and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Benefits & Compensation Administration: Oversee benefit administration and open enrollment, developing and maintaining a strong partnership with our Brokers. Work closely with finance to ensure accurate monthly billing. Research, analyze, and implement the pay structure by collecting market data, evaluating job roles, and advising leadership on competitive salary ranges to attract and retain employees, ensuring fair and compliant compensation practices across the company.
Coaching & Communication: Work closely with Leadership to understand their unique needs and challenges. Provide knowledge and advice on a wide range of HR topics and employee engagement. Serve as a sounding board for employees and leaders to discuss concerns, brainstorm solutions, and navigate complex situations. Lead weekly HR meetings with Leadership and conduct weekly meetings with departments. Plan and organize quarterly all-hands meetings.
Compliance: Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal counsel as needed. Research, develop and propose policy updates, new policies and/or update procedures/guidelines to support growing and evolving organization.
Internship Program Oversight: Work with Managers, Practice Leaders, and interns to manage the internship program, tracking training, work assignments, mentoring activities, presentations and meetings, ensuring that all participants and stakeholders benefit from the experience.
Office Administration: Responsible for asset management, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, calendar management, greeting visitors and other administrative duties as needed.
Performance Management & Development: Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Administer employee recognition programs and training & development. Implement semi-annual employee performance assessments and annual compensation review cycle. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Talent Acquisition: Coordinate with others to post open positions, schedule interviews and maintain on-going communication with applicants, keeping all stakeholders apprised of status. Plan and conduct new hire orientation to help transition employees into the organization. Implement and manage the onboarding process including collection and processing of all new hire paperwork.
Must be able to perform work under minimal supervision. Manage and/or coordinate all process tasks, tools and resources for the HR function. Must have demonstrated abilities in the following areas:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
