TITLE: Human Resources Assistant (Exempt)

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director
SALARY RANGE: $61,475 - $76,844
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Assistant is directly responsible to the Human Resources Director and provides a full range of confidential and professional human resources support to the human resources leadership team as well as all employees in the district.
The HR Assistant will embrace a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion, continuous learning, build relationships and focus on various administrative human resources functions, programs and projects in labour and employee relations, workforce planning, learning and development, total rewards and other HR related programs.

ABOUT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 57
School District No.57 resides on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli Tโenneh First Nations, McLeod Lake Indian Band and the Simpcw First Nations.
Geographically we expand from Mackenzie, through Prince George, to McBride and Valemount. We serve 41 schools: 32 Elementary schools, 8 Secondary schools and 1 District Learning Support center for alternative and alternate learning opportunities.
We provide educational programs for approximately 15,000 students inclusive of early learning, after school art and sports programing, trades programs, and dual credit programs with our local post-secondary schools.
We support Lheidli Tโenneh students, McLeod Lake students and Takla students living on reserve through our Local Education Agreements. With each Nation we co-construct the educational services provided to the students while attending a school within our school district.
