Mesa seeks a self-motivated and experienced HR Assistant to support our busy HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Madison location and multiple regional locations. This role helps in assisting with the hiring process, scheduling interviews, recruiting and entering a high volume of employment records into our HR databases. - Recruitment:
- Source, screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Coordinate and conduct job fairs, campus recruitment and other talent acquisition events.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from posting positions to extending offers.
- 75% or more of the time will be spent recruiting.
- Onboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, access, and resources on their first day.
- Conduct new hire orientation to familiarize new employees with company policies, culture, and expectations.
- HR:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including but not limited to, scheduling interviews, maintaining databases, and handling confidential HR information.
- Accurately answer employee questions regarding benefits and company policy.
- Social event preparation and setup.
- Execute additional HR duties as assigned.
- Communication:
- Regularly communicate to provide updates on recruitment activities, candidate status and project objectives.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires to address inquiries and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with department personnel to foster a positive employer brand.
Qualifications:
- A.S. or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated human resources and recruiting experience.
- Proficiency with HR and applicant tracking software.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail while managing concurrent projects efficiently.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations relevant to hiring practices.
- Valid driver's license, and good driving record are required.
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory.
