he Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety. In order to ensure human resource strategies align with company business goals, the HR Manager works with multiple business segments and top management within the organization.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
- Handle multiple business segments within the organization by utilizing research and development tactics in accordance with the company’s prevailing needs.
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with under-staffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
- Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers.
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview, and select applicants.
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
- Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
- Manage one HR professional.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 1-5 Years of Human Resources experience
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases

- Master’s degree in Human Resources
- 1-3 Years of Managerial Experience
