ROLE PURPOSE


We are going through an exciting period of transformation, as we invest significantly in our portfolios and deliver new estate management initiatives. As a result, we are seeking a proactive, energetic, and pragmatic candidate to join us on our journey as Head of/Senior Property Manager for one of our West London portfolios.




The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They will guide a team of Property Managers in delivering all property management initiatives within their portfolio. Their goal will be to transform their estates and enhance customer service in line with our overall vision of making spaces for businesses to thrive.




KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



  • Lead and line manage a team of 3 Property Managers who will work with you to deliver all property management initiatives within your portfolio.

  • Report into the portfolio’s Head of Asset Management regularly, providing updates on performance against objectives, settlement recommendations and proposals for business improvements.

  • Deliver with your team all property management activities within your portfolio including, but not limited to, service charge, customer exits and onboarding, licences, insurance claims, business rates, breach management and unauthorised occupier removal.

  • Manage key customer relationships to maximise growth opportunities, customer satisfaction and company reputation.

  • Identify and implement value-add initiatives beyond routine operations.

  • Collaborate with the Finance / Credit Control teams to develop and implement strategies for resolving customer arrears, such as forfeiture and CRAR.

  • Report and resolve all incidents and situations which pose a health and safety risk promptly.

  • Work collaboratively across departments to achieve the company’s overall objectives and goals, including Operations, Professional Services, Leasing, Development etc.

  • Manage contractors / agents ensuring services provided are delivered as needed and cost effectively.

  • Represent The Arch Company at stakeholder / external meetings.

  • Take on any other related responsibilities necessary to deliver the objectives as the role evolves over time.




KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


Essential



  • Extensive commercial property management experience.

  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve targets and deliver results.

  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver shared goals.

  • Strong leadership abilities with the proven capacity to lead, mentor, and develop a team of property managers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction among customers and stakeholders.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and priorities.


Desirable



  • Previous property management experience with a portfolio of high volume multi-let estates with small or medium size businesses as customers.

  • MRICS.
