At Plum Market, the General Manager (GM) is considered a managing partner and oversees a restaurant unit at the OMA airport. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, ensuring operational efficiency, driving revenue growth, and leading teams to achieve company objectives. The GM serves as the primary point of contact for employees and stakeholders, ensuring that business goals are met while maintaining a positive work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all business functions run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Deliver high-quality food service and achieve the financial targets., 
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and service quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and training processes to ensure that the team is equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and business partners.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in Food and Beverage or hospitality
  • Open availability as business needs change. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills and high level of customer service
