At the corporate level, the Fleet Compliance Specialist ensures that the organization’s safety objectives are met by managing compliance software tools, regulatory trend reporting, and aligning corporate policies with FMCSA and other regulatory standards. By analyzing leading and lagging indicators and facilitating corporate reviews, the Specialist provides valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Their work supports the company’s commitment to safety excellence, streamlines processes, and enhances the overall safety culture, safeguarding the organization’s reputation and ensuring operational continuity.
Reporting to the Director of Fleet Services, the Fleet Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining various safety compliance software tools and Fleet Maintenance systems. This role is responsible for overseeing corporate leading and lagging indicator reports, ensuring drug testing compliance, and managing training systems. The Specialist will also ensure that corporate policies and procedures align with FMCSA and other regulatory requirements, collaborating on corporate initiatives and projects to streamline processes. This role is demanding of organization and administrative excellence.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency in Fleet Maintenance and compliance software tools and systems.
Experience in managing compliance with FMCSA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to analyze data and produce detailed reports.
Effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate on corporate initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or a related field; or
Relevant experience in Fleet/DOT compliance, risk management, or a related area may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Relevant safety certifications and credentials are highly desirable.
