Description

As part of the Apple Services Finance team, you will be an integral member of the team responsible for forecasting, monitoring, and influencing the financial impacts of investments supporting App Store, MUSIC, Arcade, iCloud, AI/ML, tv+ and more. You will develop an understanding of existing businesses to identify emerging trends impacting future expectations. You will evaluate and shape new business models across our services portfolio. You’ll partner closely with senior finance and business leaders to articulate your analysis and recommendations.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Own end-to-end revenue and margin actuals & forecasts for specific lines of business
- Collaborate with technical accounting team and SAP projects team members to ensure new products or offers are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP principles
- Derive financial insights to inform key business decisions (e.g., pricing, deals) and manage risk
- Partner with Decision Support and Analytics team to implement tools and processes aimed at improving insights into the business, forecasting accuracy, and overall business performance
- Generate and maintain financial models to estimate economic and accounting impacts of commercial opportunities and investment decisions, and articulate concise and well-supported recommendations to senior leadership
- Manage and foster relationships with key business partners to influence business strategy and communicate financial performance; “earn a seat at the table”
- Work closely with Pricing team to evaluate and recommend international and domestic pricing strategies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant finance or analytical experience in a high performing and growing organization
  • BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

  • Hands on experience supporting sales teams, evaluating commercial opportunities, developing new business models, and developing accurate forecast models is required
  • Ability to quickly build effective working relationships and influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and solutions simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and independent. Ability to deliver compelling solutions in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms. Presents data in simple and intuitive formats.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required. Experience with Tableau, FileMaker and SAP, BPC, Essbase enterprise systems preferred.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
