Financial Accountant

Orka Financial is working with a large global business to recruit a Financial Accountant based in Maidenhead. The role reports into the Financial Controller and has responsibility for the month end close including, balance sheet reconciliations, compiling the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and audits and statutory reporting.

Duties will include,

 
Responsible for ensuring that all balance sheet and P&L reporting is performed on time and accurately in line with policy

Preparation, review and approval of journals

Compiling the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

Providing commentary for the profit and loss

Involved in balance sheet reconciliation review meetings

Contributing to the statutory accounts production

Collaborating with both internal and external auditors

This role would suit a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid financial accounting experience. You will be detail orientated with strong communication skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your own workload. The company offers great progression and operates hybrid working, The role is paying up to £60000 + benefits.
