We are seeking a Vice President of Risk Management to join our global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in a role that is multi-faceted, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business. Job Responsibilities
- Risk Framework Execution: Support the implementation of enterprise-wide dynamic and provocative risk assessments, foster positive risk culture through risk training vehicles, and scenario analyses to identify, measure, and mitigate key risks.
- Collaboration Across Regions: Work closely with counterparts in the UK, EU, and US to ensure alignment and consistency in the delivery of risk management initiatives across jurisdictions.
- Governance and Reporting: Contribute to the evolution of taxonomies, governance frameworks, and risk reporting practices to enhance transparency and accountability.
- Regulatory and Stakeholder Engagement: As needed and in coordination with Management, represent the ERM team in discussions with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of risk practices.
- Incident and Risk Event Management: Coordinate the identification, escalation, and resolution of risk events, ensuring timely incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of lessons learned to enhance resilience and prevent recurrence.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business risk owners, regulatory compliance teams, and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Qualification to degree level
- Ability to develop an understanding of business processes and technology used within Tradeweb
- 5+ years of risk and audit management and/or internal controls
- Have, or willing to obtain, CRMP, CISSP, CISA or CISM qualifications Β or equivalent (training will be provided if required)
- Ability to understand Policy and procedural documentation as required
- Manage competing deadlines and prioritise responsibilities to effectively meet business needs
- Work both independently and as part of a team at all levels and across all business units
- Demonstrate an understanding of business processes and enterprise risk management fundamentals Β
Desirable Skills
- Financial Sector Experience: A proven track record in enterprise risk management within the financial services or FinTech industry, particularly in regulated environments.
- Global Risk Standards: Familiarity with recognised frameworks such as COSO, ISO, or NIST.
- Collaborative Mindset: A strong team player with the ability to coordinate effectively across global teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Execution-Oriented: A proactive approach to delivering risk management tasks and initiatives with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: The ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
