Job Description:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in expanding Sacred Heart College's network of partners, donors, and funding sources. This is a commission-based role ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in education.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate partners.
Develop and execute strategies to secure funding and partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Represent Sacred Heart College in meetings, presentations, and events.
Track and report progress toward funding goals.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in sales, fundraising, or business development.
Ability to work independently and meet ambitious targets.
Passion for education and community impact.
Preferred:
Existing network of potential donors or corporate contacts.
Experience in nonprofit or educational fundraising.
Compensation Structure:
This is a commission-based position with no cap on earnings.
Partnership Funding: 10% commission on any corporate sponsorships secured.
Donor Contributions: 15% commission on individual or group donations secured.
Event Sponsorships: 12% commission on sponsorships obtained for college events.
Grant Procurement: 8% commission on successfully awarded grants.
Example Earnings Potential:
Securing a $50,000 corporate sponsorship = $5,000 commission
Raising $30,000 in individual donations = $4,500 commission
