About the Opportunity


We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our successful team in our Richlands Branch.


In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients.


You will be joining a successful, supportive and experienced team, that provides a conducive environment for professional growth, collaboration and success.


Your tasks will include:



  • Servicing customers to both meet current requirements and develop further opportunities.

  • Achieving sales and gross profit growth through the generation of leads and new business development.

  • Promoting long term business partnerships with key customers by understanding their objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes.

  • Recommending technically competent solutions to customers.

  • Preparing and submitting quotes to customers.

About You



  • Mining or Heavy Engineering Industry experience.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve targets.

  • A valid driver's license and a desire to develop your career within the business.
