Job Description

Generis produces and delivers senior level business Summits across North America, in industry sectors with a heavy manufacturing base, with the objective of providing a platform for senior executives to connect, learn and move business forward.

We are looking for ambitious business development executives to join our team. You will be responsible for reaching out to senior level executives, typically Directors and Vice-Presidents at Fortune 1000 companies, and delivering the value proposition our events offer to them, and securing their attendance.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary (university or college) degree or diploma
  • General knowledge of business and Fortune 1000 companies
  • Willingness to research and learn about manufacturing strategies in the industries we target

Additional Information

Additional Assets:

  • At least one year of direct sales experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to contribute positively to a collegial sales floor, in both character and results

Compensation:

  • Base salary + uncapped commission

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to senior executives (Directors & Vice Presidents) at Fortune 1000 companies, and engage them to attend our Summits
  • Research and develop new leads on daily basis
  • Update self and team with market intelligence during daily IMI (informed market intelligence) sessions
  • Participate in daily training exercises led by senior management
