We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Coatings Solutions Team in British Columbia and Manitoba.

We are seeking a professional like you to serve as Business Development Manager in the Western Canadian market, focusing primarily in British Columbia and additionally in Manitoba. We have ambitious goals for our Automotive Refinish group and are working hard to become the top provider of automotive refinish coatings.


 


In this role, you will work with strategic collision center customers to develop their business growth and profitability.


 


You will work across the BASF organization to support the development of new value-added tools/services, new business proposals, and strategic business plans to increase revenues and profits focused on strategic account growth and retention.


 


Travel for this role is expected to be approximately 75% or more within your assigned geographic territory.


 


As a Business Development Manager, you create chemistry by...

 



  • Leveraging your education and business project management experience in the automotive collision or automotive refinish paint industry, you will build relationships with strategic customers.

  • Travelling to customer sites at least 75% of the time.

  • Effectively expanding the Automotive Refinish business.

  • Showcasing your exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills, you will effectively address and resolve conflicts with customers.


 


If you have...

 



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive collision or automotive refinish paint industry, along with at least 7 years of overall business experience demonstrating a solid understanding of industry dynamics.

  • Project Management and Facility Planning experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time is required.

  • Background in positioning Business Solutions for commercial success, with the ability to identify market opportunities.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 75% or more within the assigned geographic territory.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms.

Pay Transparency

 


BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
