The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities
The WWSO team is looking for a Business Development (BD) candidate who will lead AWS Industries (AWSI) strategic initiatives and programs. The candidate will be focused on defining, establishing, and facilitating implementation of internal business mechanisms to accelerate service adoption and deliver business goals. The BD will dive deep in priority domains to identify cross industry trends, opportunities, drive critical domain Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives for AWSI, provide business insights to stakeholders, support and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Working hand-in-hand with AWSI Pillar teams, worldwide team, and key internal stakeholders such as Industry Business Units (IBU), sales operations, marketing and finance, you will help drive, across industries, the most impactful and scalable programs and mechanisms. This role will manage expectations, build great relationships with others, and will roll up their sleeves to find solutions and deliver results.
• Work with the Worldwide Specialist team focused on driving domain initiatives and KPIs while acting as the Pillar feedback loop for AWSI and WW team.
Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with industry specialists, IBU, World wide teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define, execute, and continually improve our business programs.
• Deep dive in data to prepare business insights and recommendations to drive business results.
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to define and track objectives, goals and deliverables
• Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas, sharing best practices, and improving the business and customer engagement model.
• Evaluate effectiveness of GTM programs from AWSI perspective and provide feedback on how to improve and enhance, including sharing best practices.
• Ensure alignment between initiatives, WWSO and IBU teams. Remove GTM blockers and accelerate escalations to resolution

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
